*SRE
System Command
Description
The Service Request Enable Command determines
which events in the Status Byte Register are
allowed to set the MSS (Master summary bit). Any
bit that is set to “1” can cause the MSS bit to be set.
Note
The *CLS command clears the status byte event
register, but not the enable register.
Syntax
*SRE <enable value>
Parameter
<enable value>

Example
*SRE 12
Sets a bit weight of 12 (bits 2 and 3) for the service
request enable register.
